Hi, I'm Caro!

I love romanticising life - maybe that’s why I moved across the world for love, leaving Germany and the fintech company I co-founded behind to begin a very different chapter in Australia.

For years, my artistic and creative side lived quietly alongside a busy professional life, never quite having the space to breathe. But photography had always been there in the background, quietly following me through different chapters of my life. Moving to Melbourne gave me the freedom to finally give that side of me the attention it deserved.

I’ve been the one with the camera for as long as I can remember - photographing the people I love, the places I travel to, and all the little moments that catch my eye.

Photography is the way I get to slow down and really look at the world. I’m drawn to images that feel effortless, expressive and tell a story - beautiful without being too perfect, with space for emotions and movement.

When I’m not behind my camera, you’ll probably find me travelling, hunting down good coffee, getting my hands messy with paint and a big canvas, cuddling my current foster cat, or enjoying a spicy margarita with good company.

And when Melbourne gets cold, I like to escape back home to enjoy the European summer - spending time between Germany and elsewhere in Europe, where I continue photographing and taking on a handful of weddings, couples and creative shoots along the way.
