1. Do you travel for destination weddings?

Absolutely! Some of my favourite things are travelling, discovering new places and photographing love stories along the way — so destination weddings are very much part of the dream. I’m based in Melbourne and regularly travel back home to Germany. If you’re planning a wedding somewhere further afield, I’d love to hear about it. Travel fees are calculated depending on the location and are always discussed upfront.

2. Do you help with planning and finding locations?

Yes — I love the creative process and planning everything in a collaborative way. As I'm not a wedding planner, I will help with anything photography-related. We’ll chat about what you have in mind and work out the best location, time and setting for the kind of photographs you’re after. You don’t need to know how to pose or have everything figured out beforehand. I’ll guide you along the way and make sure the whole thing feels relaxed, natural and, most importantly, like you.

3. What's included in your wedding packages?

Every wedding collection includes more than just photography coverage. I want to get to know you first, so we can create something that feels personal and true to you. You’ll receive a personal questionnaire and curated mood board, a pre-wedding consultation to go through your vision and photography plans, and guidance with timelines, light and logistics. After your wedding, you’ll receive your photographs in my timeless, considered editing style, delivered through a private online gallery, with sneak peeks to enjoy while the full gallery is being prepared.

4. How do you keep your photos safe?

Your photographs are the most important to me, so I take a few extra precautions to keep them safe. I shoot with two memory cards, so your images are backed up as they’re being captured. After your day, I keep multiple copies of your photographs in separate locations while I’m editing and preparing your gallery.

5. Do we need to know how to pose?

Not at all! Most of my couples aren’t used to being in front of a camera, and you definitely don’t need to be. I’ll guide you throughout the session with simple direction when needed, while leaving plenty of room for natural moments to happen. My goal is for you to feel comfortable, forget about the camera and enjoy being together — not to make you feel like you’re performing for it.

6. Can I request specific poses or shots?

Of course. If there are certain photographs, poses or details that are important to you, I’d love to know about them beforehand. You’re welcome to share inspiration with me, and we can use it as a starting point while still keeping the images feeling natural and true to you. Think of your ideas as inspiration, not a script.

7. Can we meet before the session?

Yes, please! I actually love getting to know my couples before we start taking photos. We can meet for a coffee, have a quick chat over the phone or jump on a video call, depending on what works best for you. It’s a chance to get to know each other, talk through what you’re looking for and make sure you feel comfortable with me before the camera comes out.

8. How long until I receive the final photos?

I know how tempting it is to want to see everything straight away. I’ll send through a small selection of sneak peeks shortly after your session or wedding, so you have something to relive while I work on the full gallery.

For the complete gallery, I usually allow 4–6 weeks for weddings and 2–3 weeks for couple and engagement sessions. I take the time to carefully select and edit every image, so the final gallery tells the story of your day beautifully.
